Gordon "Gordy" Bach

 

Gordon “Gordy” Bach, 83, of Little Black, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gordy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Father Patrick McConnell officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. 

Military Rites will be performed by the American Legion Post #519

 

Gordy was born on July 28, 1942, in Medford to Alfred and Frances (Rindt) Bach. Following his education, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy as an electrician. On April 15, 1967, he married the love of his life, Sandra “Sandy” Zenner, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford.

 

After completing his military service, Gordy joined Bach Electric in 1968. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, he built a respected career and successfully operated the business until his retirement in 2018, marking 50 years in the electrical trade.

 

Throughout his career, Gordy was deeply committed to serving his community. His work could be found throughout the area on numerous commercial and community projects, including McDonald’s and the Aspirus Dialysis Center. Even after retirement, Gordy continued to share his talents, generously volunteering his electrical expertise at Holy Rosary Catholic Church whenever needed.

 

Gordy is survived by his children, Michelle Ellebecker of Abbotsford and Marc Bach of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Riley Bach, Trevor Ellenbecker, Alex Ellenbecker, Jessica Fleming, Eli Fleming, and Ethan Fleming; and his siblings, Mary Smock, Delores Bohn, and Joe Bach.

 

Gordy was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Frances Bach; his beloved wife, Sandy; his brother, John Bach; and his sister, Linda Cypher.
