
Robert William Hart, aka “Wacker”, 77, of Medford, went to join his wife, Joyce, in heaven on their 54th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. He passed away at his home surrounded by family and while under the care of Hope Hospice.
He was born January 21, 1949 in Milwaukee to William Robert and Ruth (Janquirt) Hart. He graduated from Hartford High School in 1968.
Bob served in the U.S. Army from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1970.
On July 1, 1972, he married the love of his life, Joyce Mosciski. They lived in Rubicon while Bob worked for Wacker Equipment in Germantown for many years. In 2001, Bob’s love of bear hunting led them to move to the Westboro area. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, Yellowstone, and WWE, but only the older years. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished time spent with family.
While living in Taylor County, he worked for Weather Shield until his retirement.
He is survived by his son, Brian Hart of Athens; daughter Joanne Hart of Medford; nine grandchildren, Tyler, Kaley, Eric, Ryan, Taylor, Megan and Emilie Hart, Corey McVicker, and Anna Lasee; four great-grandchildren. Jayce, Harper, Jade and Dayton; siblings, Sally (Al) Mass, Jim and Tom Maher, all of Hartford, in-laws, Renee Hart of FL, Jan (Leon) Weber of MT, Jim Mosciski of CA, Mary Mosciski, Carol Mosciski, both of Iron Ridge, Cheryl (Jim) Rhode of Slinger; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce on October 2, 2019; daughter, Lisa; and two brothers, John and Patrick.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at a later date.
