Medford Woman Killed in SUV Crash Identified

MEDFORD, Wis. - Authorities have released the names of people involved in a fatal crash in Clark County that left one dead, and others hurt.

Clark County Sheriff’s Office, identified the person who died at the scene as 25-year-old Tracy Anderson of Medford, formerly of East Grand Forks, Minnesota. The name of the driver is 32-year-old Patrick Davis and the other occupants were 25-year-old Susan Sherwood and 41-year-old Serapio V. Terrones III.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call for a crash at 3:13 p.m. Monday on Highway 13 near Water Road in the township of Mayville, northeast of Dorchester.

The initial investigation indicates an SUV was northbound on Highway 13 when the driver appears to have lost control while passing a tractor hauling a manure tanker. The SUV entered the west ditch, went over a driveway and struck tree, coming to rest on its side. 

Tracy Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene.

On 11/06/2022 at 8:49 p.m. the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a vehicle had struck a utility pole and the driver appeared to be deceased. The location was reported to be on County Road-C just North of Bonde Ave in the Town of Rib Lake, Taylor County.  Taylor County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Rib Lake Fire, Ambulance and MedVac were dispatched.


Upon arrival on scene deputies determined that the driver of the vehicle, 32 year old Daniel R. Resch of Ogema Wi. was deceased. The investigation into the cause of the vehicle crash indicated that Resch was traveling northbound on CTH- C at a high rate of speed. Resch lost control of the vehicle causing it to overturn several times where it eventually came to rest after striking the utility pole. Alcohol and speed were both contributing factors in the crash.
