Daniel J. Geiger
Age 58, of Dorchester, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 in the town of Mayville in Clark County.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11AM on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Saint Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester. Rev. Daniel Hackel will officiate. Burial will follow in Dorchester Cemetery. His family will receive relatives and friends on Friday at the church in Dorchester from 9AM until time of services. Serving as his pallbearers will be his brothers: John, Jim, Steve and Kurt Geiger.
Life Tributes Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Spencer is assisting Dan’s family.
Dan was born December 12, 1954 in Medford to Norbert and Geraldine (Beyer) Geiger. He attended both St. Louis Parochial School and Colby High School. After high school he worked at his father Norbert’s trucking business driving semi. He later became a owner/operator in his own trucking operation. On December 14, 1974 he married the former Shelby Kalepp. They later divorced. He continued driving semi for a time and later worked assembling and maintaining huge pipelines. .
His hobbies included fishing, gardening, growing his apples trees and coin collecting.
He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan never missing a game and always calling his mother, Gerry, when the Packers played to cheer them and his mother on.
Dan was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America Local #268.
Survivors include his son John (Denise) Geiger of Chetek; his parents: Norb and Gerry Geiger of Dorchester; his siblings: John (Elfriede) Geiger of Colorado Springs, CO; James (Charlene) Geiger of Holcombe; Steve Geiger of Peoria, AZ; Kathleen (Dennis) Reynolds of Dorchester; Sandra (Dave) Behnke of Dorchester; Kurt (Jennifer) Geiger of Potter and Pamela (Kirk) Kalepp of Dorchester; his grandchildren: Zachary, Kolton and Kaylee. Dan is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and one brother Timothy at birth.

Marian L. Ammentorp, age 87, of Withee, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Withee. Rev. Tom Myhre will officiate. A visitation will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church in Withee. Burial will follow the service in the Nazareth Lutheran Church Cemetery, Withee.
Marian was born April 16, 1925 to Wilbert and Eva (Robinson) Hansen in the Owen, WI. Marian graduated Owen High School in May 1943. She moved to Milwaukee shortly after graduation. Marian worked for Allis-Chalmers for 13 years and stopped working in 1956 prior to the birth of her daughter, Patricia.
Marian Hansen was joined in marriage on June 19, 1948 at the First Congregational Church in Owen to Roy Ammentorp. She and Roy moved back to Withee (Town of Longwood) in 1978, when she and Roy moved to a farm in the Town of Longwood and worked together on the farm until their retirement. Marian continued to reside on the farm.
Marian is survived by her son, Don Ammentorp of Milwaukee, her daughter, Kathy Ammentorp of Milwaukee, her sister, Dorothy Roberts of Owen and other relatives and friends.
Marian is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Ammentorp, her daughter, Patricia Ammentorp, and her brother, Wilbert Hansen Jr.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: When she was a child she helped on the family dairy farm with her siblings. At the age of 18 she moved to Chicago and worked as an assembler at Guardian Electric. She then moved back to Wisconsin to help out on the family dairy farm in the Town of Deer Creek. After their marriage they moved to West Chicago where she was a housewife for a period of time. Bea and Arthur moved to the Town of Deer Creek where they operated a dairy farm. They then owned and operated a dairy farm in Little Black until 1996. During this time Bea did babysitting out of her home, cooked at the Pleasant Heights School, worked at Stetsonville Manufacturing and at Figi’s during the holiday season. In 1996, they sold the farm and moved to Stetsonville. Bea enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking, especially her famous poppy seed rolls, fishing, watching the Weather Channel and listening to the baseball games on the radio. She loved to talk on the phone, especially to her sisters and good friends and loved going to reunions to see her family and friends. For the past 50 years Bea kept a journal.
MEMBER OF: Very active in Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, where she served as President for the Zion Sewing Circle. She was also a member of the Zion Mission Circle and she often coordinated and cooked meals for weddings, funerals and other church dinners. Arthur and Bea served as greeters for many, many years at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church.

Armilla M. Clark, age 87, of Owen, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church in Owen. Reverend Tony Ring will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday, at the church in Owen. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Withee.
Armilla was born March 5, 1925 to Charles and Ella (Meyer) Bangle in Owen, Wisconsin. She attended Owen Schools and was a graduate of Owen High School.
She worked for Foster Will and also worked for Tom and Dorothy Gehrke as a housekeeper and babysitter.
She was predeceased by her first husband; William Winslow and second husband; James C. Clark in 2011. They were married for 61 years. She also was preceded in death by her son; William L. Winslow and a great-grandaughter; Cyanna Goessl in 2011.
Armilla is lovingly survived by her daughters; Sally Clark of Owen and Nancy (Terry) Kuenne of Withee, and a daughter-in-law; Linda Arndt and grandchildren; Paul, Rita, Layth, Becky, and Jesse, step-grandchildren; Craig, Norm, Jennifer, Tonya and a grandson-in-law; Steve.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers; Orlando, Alvin and Melvin, step-brothers; Allen and Myron, and step-sister; Rose and a step-grandson; Nathan.

Evelyn E. Denzin, 92 of Wausau formerly of Abbotsford died Monday, January 14, 2013 at Evergreen Park Assisted Living in Kronenwetter.
Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 19 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford, WI with Reverend Mark Neumann officiating. Burial will be in the Abbotsford Public Cemetery.

Evelyn was born December 29, 1920 in Des Plaines, Illinois to Henry and Mary (Heinz) Kloth. She was united in marriage to Alvin Denzin on January 11,1939 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Milan.
Evelyn farmed with her husband in the Town of Holton until 1975 and continued to reside on the farm until 1998 when she moved to Wausau. Evelyn owned and operated Denzin Green House in the Town of Holton from 1978 to 1998 where she grew and sold beautiful plants.
She is survived by her children; Gordon (friend Ethel) Denzin of Wausau and Joan Denzin of Wausau. 3 grandchildren; Scott (Michelle) Denzin of Wausau, Lisa (Derek) Denzin-San’Angello of New Jersey and Keri (Chad) Semrow of Cedar Rapids, IA. 6 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters; Barbara Umnus of Wausau and Joyce Kloth of Wausau.
Preceding her in death were her husband; Alvin, parents and brothers; Melvin and Lester Kloth.
She enjoyed making crafts, gardening and bird watching.

Age 87, of Abbotsford, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield with his wife and family at his bedside.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen. The Rev. Gerard Willger will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in the town of Hixon with military honors conducted by members of the O-W Vets Club, Owen American Legion Post 123 and the Lublin American Legion Post 547. Visitation will be held Friday at the church in Owen from 4:30PM until 7PM and again on Saturday at the church in Owen from 10AM until time of services. A Rosary service will be held at 7PM on Friday at the church in Owen. Acting as his pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Mannon Gustafson, age 78, of Colby, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at his home in Colby. A funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the First United Church of Christ in Colby. Pastor Teri Hanson will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in the Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Mannon was born September 7, 1934 to Helmer and Alice (Thess) Gustafson in the Owen-Withee area. He attended Bee Hive Grade School in the Town of Green Grove and was a 1952 graduate of the Owen-Withee High School. After graduating high school Mannon entered the US Army and was honorably discharged on Nov. 4, 1959. He worked for the Laabs Cheese Factory for a while and in the early 1960’s he began to work for Packaging Corporation of America in Colby retiring in 1998. Mannon was joined in marriage to Marilyn Fitzel on September 30, 1961 at the First United Church of Christ in Colby.
He enjoyed hunting, going fishing, gardening. trapping and meeting people.
Mannon is survived by his wife; Marilyn of Colby, daughters; Sherry Fitzel of Marshfield, Rosalie (Gene) Voda of Maple Lake, MN and one son; Lorne Gustafson of Prentice, grandchildren; Alicia Voda, Kyle Gustafson, Brandon Voda, and Adam Gustafson, brother; Franklin (Janalee) Gustafson of Colby and a brother-in-law; Galen (Diane) Fitzel of St. Paul, MN
He is preceded in death by his parents; Helmer and Alice Gustafson and mother and father in law: Ione and Adam Fitzel.

Pallbearers will be: Dale Hoernke, Jerry Baumann Jr., Brian Schauer, Shawn Bellendorf, Kendra Bellendorf and Brett Schauer. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Brendan Schauer, Ari Movroydis and Niko Movroydis.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of service Friday at the church.
Virginia was born May 25, 1918 in Loyal to August and Celia (Etta) Woodkey. She was united in marriage to Herbert Henry Hederer on October 1, 1949 at Zion Lutheran Church Parsonage in Colby.
Virginia attended Loyal Grade School until the age of 16, when she moved with her family to Marshfield and attended Marshfield High School. She worked for the Weinbrenner Shoe Factory in Marshfield, retiring after 30 years of employment. Virginia also farmed with her husband after their marriage in the Colby area.
She is survived by her children; Bonnie (Dale) Hoernke of Colby, Colleen (Jeff) Dayton and family of Neillsville and Ellen Movroydis of Noblesville, IN. Grandchildren; Daniella (Brian) Schauer of Dorchester, Gerald (Carrie) Baumann Jr. of Colby and Michelle (Shawn) Bellendorf of Colby, Niko Movroydis of Kokomo, IN. and Ari Movroydis of Noblesville, IN. Great-Grandchildren; Brett and Brendan Schauer, Hailey, Lucas, Lily and Ella Baumann, Kendra and Riley Bellendorf.
Preceding her in death were her husband; Herbert, parents, sisters; Margaret in infancy and Jean Woodkey, brothers; Norman and Jerry Woodkey.
She enjoyed fishing, gardening, bird watching, bingo, going to coffee clutch and she especially enjoyed spending time with her dogs.
Virginia was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, lifetime member of the Colby American Legion Auxiliary, Clark County Humane Society, Audubon Society and the Monthly Birthday Club group.

WE WERE INFORMED OF THE DEATH OF: Susan H. Kapszukiewicz who was formerly of Gilman, passed away on December 30, 2012, at her home in Menomonie.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE:
Survivors include her siblings, Kathleen Pember of St. Louis Park, MN; Joyce Kapszukiewicz and Michael (Nancy) Kapszukiewicz both of Menomonie, David (Kathy) Kapszukiewicz of Hortonville and Jean (Richard) Detert of Mosinee, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD:
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St.’s Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, with Fr.Gerard Willger officiating. Inurnment will take place in the spring. The Gilman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
