TIME & PLACE OF SERVICES: 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 17 at the Woodland Community Church, Westboro where full military honors will be performed by the Medford Area Military Honors Team

VISITATION: 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 17 at the Woodland Community Church, Westboro


DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: August 30, 1944 in Elkhorn, Wisconsin


EDUCATION: Graduate of Delavan-Darian High School; Attended Blackhawk Technical College where he received his degree in Airplane Mechanics


MARRIAGE: May 21, 1976 at the Darian Baptist Church, Darian to Dorothy M. Cotte.


PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Larry served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War where he was a helicopter instructor. He then worked in Saudi Arabia for four years as a pilot for an oil company. In 1977 they then moved to their current home where they owned and operated a dairy farm until 2002. He then worked for Bach Farms until his retirement in 2005. Larry was an avid reader, especially books about trains, airplanes and WWII. He loved History and working on his model railroad.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Mark (Cindy) Smith of Medford, Lynn (Gary) Kruzicki of Plover, David (Charmain) Smith of Wausau, Kristina (Timothy) Slachetka of Ogema, Jana (Matthew) Czahor of Westboro and Michelle (David) Duddeck of Ixonia


CHILDREN DECEASED: Son: Dale John in 1967




SURVIVING BROTHERS: Dennis Smith of California and Roger Smith of St. Paul, Minnesota






PALLBEARERS: Mark, David, Charles and Matthew Smith, Gary and Scott Kruzicki, Matt Czahor and Dave Duddeck


OTHER INFORMATION: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made in Larry’s name to Woodland Community Church N8609 Business Highway 13 Westboro, Wisconsin 54490
