PLACE, DATE & TIME OF DEATH: 9:28 AM Friday, February 21 at Our House Assisted Living, Medford where he had resided for the past 6 years, most recently under the care of Hope Hospice


TIME & PLACE OF SERVICES: No services will be held, however, there will be a memorial visitation


INTERMENT: Interment of his cremated remains will take place at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II in the Spring of 2014


VISITATION: Hemer Funeral Home, Medford from 1 – 5 PM on Tuesday, Feb. 25


DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: August 14, 1929 at Rice Lake, WI


EDUCATION: Rice Lake Elementary schools, graduate of Medford High School


MARRIAGE: Previously married and divorced


PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict serving from 1950-1951. After the military, he returned to Medford and worked with his father at Reckenthaler Electric which he later owned & operated until his retirement. He enjoyed flying, traveling, boating & spending time at his cabin on Lake Holcomb.


SURVIVING RELATIVES: Niece – Lorna Fifield of Wild Rose
Nephews – David (Linda) Casey of Rib Lake & Kevin (Laurel) Casey of Ogdensburg, WI
Cousin – Mary Jane (Duane) Eckern of Shell LakeWI


BROTHERS/SISTERS DECEASED: Brother – Royal in 1961; Sister – Carol Casey in 1999


DECEASED FATHER: Melvin Reckenthaler DECEASED MOTHER: Constance A. Eidsmore
