INTERMENT: Interment of her cremated remains will take place at Mount Olive Cemetery, Westboro

 

VISITATION: 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Thursday, January 9 at First Lutheran Church, Westboro

 

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: January 31, 1913 at Westboro, WI

 

EDUCATION: Westboro area elementary schools and was a graduate of Westboro High School

 

MARRIAGE: To Maurice McCumber and he preceded her in death

 

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: They farmed in the Westboro area for a period of time. She also took care of her parents for a period of time. She worked as a personal caregiver throughout her life. In later years, she moved to Medford. She enjoyed berry picking, hard work, sharing stories with people and embroidery work. She did volunteer work with the Taylor Co. Historical Society.

 

MEMBER OF: First Lutheran Church, Westboro; Attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Medford while residing in Medford; Taylor County Historical Society

 

CHILDREN DECEASED: Son – Gerald Elliot McCumber in 2011

 

# OF LIVING GRANDCHILDREN: 4 GR-GRANDCHILDREN: 7

 

BROTHERS/SISTERS DECEASED: Harold, Rueben & Richard Johnson

 

DECEASED FATHER: Charles Johnson DECEASED MOTHER: Hattie

 

OTHER INFORMATION: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given either to First Lutheran Church of Westboro or the Taylor County Historical Society
