Joyce A. Zielinski, age 83, of Withee, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Colonial Center in Colby. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee. Pastor Bonnie Cain will officiate. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen and from 12:00 PM until the time of services Wednesday at the church. Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery in the Town of Hixon.

Joyce was born on April 16, 1930, the daughter of Edward and Eliza Peoples in Fayetteville, NC. She was united in marriage to Steve Zielinski on June 14, 1947 in South Carolina. They moved to the Thorp area before residing in the Chicago area. They retired in the Withee area. Steve preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 2008.

Joyce liked camping, playing bingo, shopping, collecting beanie babies, clowns and bells. She especially enjoyed celebrating the holidays with her family and grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her three children: Dennis (Jane) Zielinski, Sr. of Mosinee, Darlene (Nick) Hanck of Elmhurst, IL and Betty (Joe) Muehlbauer of Spencer; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren She is further survived by her sister, Virginia Salyer of Florida; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Steve; a brother, Edward and two sisters, Margaret and Jean.
