PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Moved to Milwaukee where she was a live in Nanny for a couple of years. Leona then worked at a shoe factory for a year until returning to the area. After her marriage she was a homemaker and raised her children. Leona was an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, quilting, cooking and baking. She always had cookies in her house for her boys and there was always plenty of food for anyone who visited.

SURVIVING SPOUSE: Husband of 71 years, Lorin A. Albrecht of Gad

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Lorna Chipman of Medford, George (Donna) of Niceville, Florida, Bruce (Diane) of Gad, Gary (Georgine) of Medford and Larry (Fiancé Jane Lekie) of Medford

GRANDCHILDREN DECEASED: Michael and David Albrecht

15 GRANDCHILDREN; 17 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN

BROTHERS/SISTERS DECEASED: Six Sisters: Elsie Loeffler, Bert Diels, Amanda Steen, Gertrude Weiler, Hildagard Jari and Martha in infancy
Eight Brothers: William, Ervin, Herbert, Ernest, Gerald, Lester, Raymond and Frank Dassow in infancy

DECEASED FATHER: William E. Dassow Sr.

DECEASED MOTHER: Magdalena A. Dassow (Maiden Name: Frischman)
