INTERMENT: Cremainal Inurnment will take place in Medford Evergreen Cemetery, Medford

VISITATION: 11:00 A.M. until the time of services at 2:30 P.M. Friday, June 28 at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: December 17, 1965 at Chicago, Illinois

EDUCATION: 1984 Graduate of Medford High School; Received his Associates Degree from North Central Technical College in Tool and Die

MARRIAGE: May 10, 1997 at the United Church of Christ, Medford to Angie M. Netzer and they later divorced

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After college, Woody worked as a Machinist at Marshfield Machine Corporation for a period of time, he then worked as a Window Fabricator at Hurd Millwork for a short time. Woody worked as a Tool and Die Maker at Weathershield from 1987 until 2011. For 4 years in a row he won Junior Nationals in High Power Rifle at Camp Perry, Ohio. Woody was an avid shooter, marksman, hunter, and fisher man. He was a gun smith and enjoyed being outdoors.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Dillon Staples of Prescott, Gabrielle “Gabby” Staples and Lexie Anderson both of Medford

Sister: Sue (Mike) Metz of Medford

SURVIVING MOTHER: Janice K. Staples (Maiden Name: Rehbein) of Medford

DECEASED FATHER: William “Bill” R. Staples

URNBEARER: Son: Dillon Staples
