PLACE, DATE & TIME OF DEATH: 6:32 AM Wednesday, January 23 at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center, Medford where he had resided for the past 8 years most recently under the care of Hope Hospice

TIME & PLACE OF FUNERAL: 3:00 PM Saturday, January 26 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Town of Holway

OFFICIATING: Rev. Kris Bjerke-Ulliman

INTERMENT: Interment of his cremated remains will take place at Zion Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Stetsonville at a later date

VISITATION: 1:00 PM until the time of services at 3:00 PM on Saturday, Jan. 26 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Town of Holway

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: November 8, 1926 at the Town of Little Black

EDUCATION: Town of Little Black elementary schools and was a 1944 graduate of Medford High School

MARRIAGE INFORMATION: 1st: 2-26-49 at Goodrich to Carolyn “Carrie” Borman & she preceded him in death 5-4-77; 2nd: October 27, 1979 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Holway to Jane Nelson Hanson

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: He farmed the family farm in the Town of Little Black until 1979. While farming, he also worked as an auto mechanic for various area auto dealerships. After his 2nd marriage, they moved to the Town of Holway where he owned and operated a car repair business until his retirement in 1991. They moved to the City of Medford in 2004. He enjoyed traveling, reading and socializing with friends & family.

SURVIVING SPOUSE: Jane Meschefske of Medford

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Nancy (Daniel) Biersack of Oconomowoc, Larry Meschefske of Loyal, Daniel (Linda) Meschefske of Wausau, Merilee Meschefske of Columbia, TN, Carolyn (Brad) Tenhoff of Bradenton, FL
3 Grandchildren – Tressy Meschefske, Evelyn Gould & John Biersack
Step-Children – Sharon (Mike) Gilles of Wausau, Dennis Hanson of Owen, Sandra (Dick) Simonson of Colby, Donald (Gail) Hanson of Owen, Nancy (Dan) Sova of Hewitt, Debra Gaffney of Phillips, Rick Hanson of Medford

CHILDREN DECEASED: son in infancy: Neil, and step-daughter: Tammy (Hanson) Neuenfeldt

GRANDCHILDREN: 3 & 18 step GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: 4 & 22 step
