PLACE, DATE & TIME OF DEATH: 9:55 P.M. Monday, January 21 at the MNRC, Medford where she had resided for the past 1 ½ years surrounded by her loving family & under the care of Hope Hospice

TIME & PLACE OF FUNERAL: 11:00 Saturday January 26 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville

OFFICIATING: Rev. James Babler

INTERMENT: Zion Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Stetsonville

VISITATION: 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 25 at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford and also form 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 26 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: July 22, 1926 in the Town of Deer Creek

EDUCATION: Victory Elementary School, Town of Deer Creek

MARRIAGE INFORMATION: November 23, 1926 in San Francisco to Arthur H. Ludwig and he survives

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: When she was a child she helped on the family dairy farm with her siblings. At the age of 18 she moved to Chicago and worked as an assembler at Guardian Electric. She then moved back to Wisconsin to help out on the family dairy farm in the Town of Deer Creek. After their marriage they moved to West Chicago where she was a housewife for a period of time. Bea and Arthur moved to the Town of Deer Creek where they operated a dairy farm. They then owned and operated a dairy farm in Little Black until 1996. During this time Bea did babysitting out of her home, cooked at the Pleasant Heights School, worked at Stetsonville Manufacturing and at Figi’s during the holiday season. In 1996, they sold the farm and moved to Stetsonville. Bea enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking, especially her famous poppy seed rolls, fishing, watching the Weather Channel and listening to the baseball games on the radio. She loved to talk on the phone, especially to her sisters and good friends and loved going to reunions to see her family and friends. For the past 50 years Bea kept a journal.

MEMBER OF: Very active in Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, where she served as President for the Zion Sewing Circle. She was also a member of the Zion Mission Circle and she often coordinated and cooked meals for weddings, funerals and other church dinners. Arthur and Bea served as greeters for many, many years at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church.

SURVIVING SPOUSE: Arthur H. Ludwig of Medford

SURVIVING CHILDREN: 3 Sons: Bruce (Jan) of Rochester, MN, Tim (Kris) of Eagle River, Jeff (Cindy) of Coon Rapids, MN

CHILDREN DECEASED: 1 Son: Doug Ludwig in 1996, Daughter-In-Law: Darla Ludwig in 2004

GRANDCHILDREN: 11 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: 6

SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: 1 Brother: Marvin Niemuth of Stetsonville
5 Sisters: Sally Vlach of Tampa, FL, Mabel Habermeyer of Fairchild, Elaine Fritsche of Dorchester, Ruth Arndt of Medford and Vivian (Henry) Hentges of St. Charles, MN
2 Sisters-In-Law: Ellen Niemuth of Altoona and Janet Niemuth of Medford
1 Brother-In-Law: Henry Weiler of Marshfield

DECEASED BROTHERS/SISTERS: 2 Sisters: Pearl Wieneke and Rachel Weiler
2 Brothers: Glenn and Vernon Niemuth
