TIME & PLACE OF FUNERAL: 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 16 at First Lutheran Church, Westboro

OFFICIATING: Rev. Dr. Bob Giese

INTERMENT: Mount Olive Cemetery, Westboro

VISITATION: First Lutheran Church, Westboro from 12 noon until the time of funeral services at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 16

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: February 24, 1917 at Abbotsford, WI

EDUCATION: Abbotsford elementary schools and was a 1935 graduate of Abbotsford High School; Attended the Eau Claire School of Beauty Culture

MARRIAGE INFORMATION: July 17, 1939 at Waukon, Iowa to her high school sweetheart, John A. Hanson and he preceded her in death in 1993

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Prior to her marriage she worked as a beautician and a telephone operator for periods of time in Abbotsford. After marriage, they moved to Westboro where she resided until moving to Golden Living Center in December of 2004. She worked for the Town of Westboro elections for many years. She enjoyed shopping trips, ceramic painting, camping, snowmobiling, baking, reading, listening to polka music and was a huge Johnny Cash fan.

MEMBER OF: First Lutheran Church, Westboro and was a past member of its Ladies Aid

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Daughters – Jean (Duane) Scott of Westboro & Joanne (Peter) Quednow of Westboro

GRANDCHILDREN: 10 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: 25 GR. GR. GRANDCHILDREN: 4

SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: Brother – Harvey (Pearl) Olson of Abbotsford
Sister-in-law: Dorothy Westendorf of Withee; Brother-in-law: Cletus Schraufnagel of Colby

DECEASED FATHER: Harry Olson DECEASED MOTHER: Mary Zahorka

PALLBEARERS: Great Grandchildren – Jessica & Jennifer Scott, Zachary & Clayton Ruesch, Cody & Austin Ewan, Cole & Jeffrey Quednow
