88-year-old      HOWARD “HOWIE” W. GRUNWALD   


OF    Country Gardens Assisted Living, Medford; A former Town of Little Black resident


WHO DIED   5:50 PM Saturday, January 5 at Country Gardens Assisted Living, Medford where he had resided for the past 6 months most recently under the care of Hope Hospice


SURVIVORS INCLUDE:  CHILDREN:  Daughters – Janice (Gary) Nance of West Point, CA, Ruth (Ron) Fisk of Medford & Anne (Fiancée - Ken Jascor) Smith of Medford; Sons – Jim (Sharon) and Joe (Peggy) Grunwald both of Medford


Step-Children:  Sandra (Norman) Peters of Suamico, Terry (Bev) Riemer of Brillion, Margie (Kirby) Carpenter, Bonita Riemer & Patrick Riemer all of Green Bay, Mike (Deb) Riemer of Medford & Russel Riemer of Ohio


GRANDCHILDREN:  11 & 9 step      GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN:    12 & 13 step 




WILL BE: 11:30 AM Thursday, January 10 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford where there will also be military rites performed by the Medford Military Honors Team


WITH      Father Gerard Willger & Deacon Joe Stefancin OFFICIATING


BURIAL WILL BE AT:  St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Little Black


FRIENDS MAY CALL AT:   Hemer Funeral Home, Medford from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, Jan. 9 where there will be a 4:00 PM Catholic prayer/rosary service held; also from 9 AM until 11:15 AM on Thursday, Jan. 10 


OTHER INFORMATION: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the family for a future designation
