Marvin is survived by his beloved partner, Kathy Friday of Curtiss; his children Brian (Sheila) Steinmetz of Dorchester, Karen Hawk (Keith Hogue) of Marshfield, Kerry (Cathy) Steinmetz of Marshfield, Kay Steinmetz of Syracuse, NY, and Kim (Gary) Decker of Dorchester; and eight grandchildren (Nathan, Annie, Chad, Sara, Jennifer, Corey, Justin, and Megan), two great-grandchildren (Alden and Sophia); and extended family members Jennifer and Jason Friday. He is further survived by his brothers Kenneth (late Donna) Steinmetz and Henry (Rosemary) Steinmetz; his sisters Joan (Don) Willam, Betty (late Duane) Smasal, Caroline (late Rich) Eslinger, and Eileen O`Donnell.

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Marie Ruhe, and his son Kevin.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. A rosary will be held at 9 AM, with visitation following until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Colby.
