DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: December 13, 1939 at Grant County, North Dakota

 

EDUCATION: Schrader Grade School, Grant County, ND & was a 1957 graduate of Lemmon High School, Lemmon South Dakota

 

MARRIAGE: December 22, 1962 at Rockford, IL to Pearl Joanne Kouril and she survives

 

PRINCIPLE EVENTS IN LIFE: After his education, he ranched in North Dakota until moving to Rockford, IL in 1961 where he worked as a machinist at Rockford Screw Products and later Chrysler. From 1968-1974 he worked as a production supervisor at Kent Feeds. In 1975 they moved to the Medford area and worked as a machinist at Wisconsin Equipment until 1979. They moved to Owen where they owned/operated the Curtiss Feed Mill from 1979-1985. Moved to Stetsonville where he sold insurance as an independent agent. Then he worked at Agri-King as a cattle nutritionist & later drove truck for Abbyland Trucking until ill health forced his retirement. He enjoyed playing guitar, gospel/country music, bowling, was a self-fabricator, family activities, his church, biking, bird watching, hunting and his Sheltie dog.

SURVIVING SPOUSE: Pearl J. Huber of Medford

 

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Edward (Mary) Huber of Bloomington, MN, Philip (Karen) Huber of Colby & Curtis Huber of Mellen, WI

 

# OF LIVING GRANDCHILDREN: 6 – Matthew, Adam, Robert, Morgan, Hunter & Mackenzie Huber

 

SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: Leilla Moll of Fargo, ND, Allen (Patricia) Huber of Medford & Sharon Kouba of Tucson, AZ

 

BROTHERS/SISTERS DECEASED: 11 siblings
