Janice M. Crandall, age 79, of Owen, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center in Owen.A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen with a visitation to follow from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday. Reverend Nancy Amacher will officiate.
Janice was born on September 25, 1938, the daughter of Albert and Julia (McDonough) Bloom in Mondovi, WI. She was a graduate of Mondovi High School and later married William Fitzgerald and became a housewife and helped on the farm until William passed away, Janice then worked at Target in Minneapolis until her retirement. She then moved to Owen to be close to her daughter and grandchildren.
Janice loved to play cards and dominoes and she had a green thumb when it came to gardens and flower beds.
Janice is survived by her children; Jane Carollee of Pasadena, TX, Jim (Cyndy) Fitzgerald of Foster, WI and Joan Jalling of Owen, WI, grandchildren; Josh Jalling, Kayla Jalling, Julia Jalling, Jarrod Fitzgerald, Christopher Fitzgerald, Carrie Fitzgerald, Charlie Chapman and Symantha Chapman, great-grandchildren; Corbin Fitzgerald, Ruby Fitzgerald, Korra Stolp, Rosaley Fitzgerald, Joshua and Sebastian Zabala. She is further survived by her brother; Merle Bloom of Minneapolis, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her siblings; Doris Arbuckle, Lester Bloom, Evelyn Timm, Gordon Bloom, Albert Bloom Jr., LaVerne Bloom and James Bloom.
