  Karen S. Faude, age 52, of Withee passed away at Wausau Aspirus Hospital on Sunday, October 22, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

  A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen.  Pastor Teri Hanson will officiate.  Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. 

  Karen was born on August 18, 1965, the daughter of Charles and Joanne (Singstock) Luther in Milan.      She graduated from Abbotsford High School.  On October 7, 1989, Karen was united in marriage to Allan Faude in Medford.  Together they resided in the Township of Maplehurst.  Karen worked as a group leader at Weathershield in Medford for many years. 

  Christmas time was her favorite time of year especially for displaying her collections of snowmen and Christmas village along with baking a tremendous amounts of cookies.  Karen loved watching movies with her best friend, Pam Smith, on the weekend.  She always turned the radio to the highest volume when Thunderstruck by AC/DC came on.  Karen also loved to cook large meals, preparing the headliner meal of the week on Saturday for her family.  She also enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and snowmobiling.  Karen cherished her family, especially her grandson, Logan.

  Karen is survived by her husband of 28 years, Al of Withee; her children: Matt Faude of Withee, Ben Faude of Owen and Katie Faude of Wisconsin Rapids and her grandson, Logan.  She is further survived by her parents Charles and Joanne Luther of Milan; two brothers and three sisters:  Cindy (Greg) Raube of Reeseville, Brenda (Ed) Schmidt of Athens, Mark (Julie) Luther of Spencer, Brian (Kathy) Luther of Athens and Sara (Brian Wimmer) Luther of Wausau; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Theresa Singstock and Guy and Gladys "Faye" Luther.
