PLACE, DATE & TIME OF DEATH: 2:00 AM Sunday, January 22 at her residence under the loving care of her family and Hope Hospice

 

TIME & PLACE OF SERVICES: 11:00 AM on Friday, January 27 at Community United Church of Christ, Medford

 

OFFICIATING: Pastor Mary Jo Laabs

 

INTERMENT: Interment of her cremated remains will take place at a later date

 

VISITATION: Hemer Funeral Home, Medford from 5 – 7 PM on Thursday, January 26 and also at church from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Friday, January 27

 

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: June 24, 1956 at Milwaukee, WI

 

EDUCATION: Milwaukee area elementary schools; 1974 graduate of Medford Area High School; Attended Northcentral Technical College in Wausau

 

MARRIAGE: To Michael Dassow at Whittlesey in 1983 and they were later divorced in 1989; To Daryl Johnson at Medford in 1992 and he preceded her in death in 1997; To Michael “Minnows” Danen at Medford in 2000 & he survives

 

PRINCIPLE EVENTS IN LIFE: Moved to Medford in 1970 with her family. After her education, she worked at Krug Westside Bus & Truck from 1983-1999, Northwest Wisconsin CEP from 1999-2012, Indianhead from 2012-2014. Then she did part time work for H & R Block, Stetsonville Oil, Aramark & most recently as a secretary for Community United Church of Christ, Medford. She helped start the Stetsonville First Responder program in 2004 and was a member until 2014 & she was a Taylor County Aspirus Hospital EMT from 2005-2014. She was a Red Cross volunteer from 2005-2014. She enjoyed quilting, reading and her grandsons.

 

MEMBER OF: Stetsonville Lions, Medford Morning Rotary, Taylor County Reality Fair, Junior Achievement, Board of Centennial Community Center, and a graduate of the Leadership Medford program

 

SURVIVING SPOUSE: Michael “Minnows” Danen of Stetsonville

 

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Daughter – Megan (Jason Lindeman) Dassow of Colby
2 Grandsons – Landon Graap & Ayden Lindeman both of Colby

 

SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: Sister – Karen (Don) Schmidt of Colby
Brother – Patrick (Theresa) Brunetto of Eau Claire

 

DECEASED FATHER: Frank J. Brunetto

 

DECEASED MOTHER: Janice Elizabeth (Gebert) Brunetto

 

OTHER INFORMATION: She is further survived by many other family and friends
