PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After her marriage Joyce lived in Downer’s Grove IL where she worked at Rex Nord Chain Belt making plane bearings for a period of time. She then moved to Lublin where she worked at ITT Insurance in Thorp for a period of time. Joyce helped run the family dairy farm in Lublin and she also worked at Zastrow Care Center in Gilman. Most recently, Joyce worked at Memorial Health Center as a laundry assistant. She enjoyed oil painting, making homemade cards, reading mystery books and she was a pro at crossword puzzles.
