OFFICIATING: Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joseph Stefancin

 

VISITATION: 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, May 30 at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford where there will be a 6:30 VFW Ladies Auxiliary Service and then a 6:45 P.M. Prayer Service. Visitation will also be from 9:00 A.M. until 10:40 A.M. Saturday, May 31 at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford

EDUCATION: St. Nicholas Ukrainian School in Chicago, Moved to Withee at the age of 12 and attended Redville School. Withee High School. Florette also attended Taylor County Normal School in Medford

 

MARRIAGE: February 27, 1954 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford to Rae L. Kohn

 

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Florette was a housewife and mother. She enjoyed service to the community, fishing, traveling and playing cards. She was also a Tupperware dealer for many, many years. Florette served as President of the Medford VFW Ladies Auxiliary #5729, President/Treasurer for the Wisconsin 10th District VFW Auxiliary, The Thrifty Go-Getters 4-H Leader for 50+ years, Taylor County 4-H Leaders Association, the 4-H Fair Food Stand, Chairman for the Farm Bureau Ladies, Taylor-Clark County Beekeepers Association and Treasurer of the Taylor County Dairy Promotion Committee (Division of the Milk Marketing Board)
